GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The Grand Island City Council approved changes made to the application for the Good Life District at Tuesday night’s meeting.

According to the agenda, Woodsonia, the company leading the planning for the project, has made changes to its Good Life District application based on discussions with council members during a Nov. 12 study session.

Woodsonia has consulted with Council Member Ryan O’Neill regarding the aquatics center and made changes to its proposal based on those conversations.

Several other City Council members have also met with Woodsonia since that Nov. 12 meeting.

The council will voted 8-1 in favor of approving those changes at the meeting.

The staff will now move forward with funding and rezoning for the project.
