Notre Dame's Marcus Freeman has emerged as the overwhelming favorite to get the job, and this isn't the first time that he's been tied to the organization.

According to The Athletic's Dan Duggan, the Giants are keeping tabs on the 39-year-old Freeman.

"I absolutely think he’s someone the Giants will have interest in. I don’t know if there would be mutual interest," he wrote on X .
