CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) - Chesterfield County Administrator is set to retire effective July 1, 2026.
His retirement will coincide with the 10-year anniversary of his tenure as the chief executive of Virginia’s fourth-largest county, which began in 2016. During his time in office, Casey has led a local government with over 4,000 full-time employees and managed a budget of $2.4 billion.
Reflecting on a public service career that has spanned 37 years across three of the Richmond region’s four large localities, Casey expressed that he is ready to embark on his next chapter.
