Congregation Coffee is continuing its expansion efforts into 2026 with plans to open up shop in the French Quarter.

The New Orleans coffee roaster has secured a space at 618 Conti St., on the edge of Exchange Alley.

The opening date for the coffee shop is not yet set in stone, but owner Patrick Brennan told Garden & Gun it would be after Mardi Gras in February 2026.

Brennan acquired Congregation Coffee in 2023, and since then reopened its flagship coffee shop in Algiers and then expanded Uptown to Magazine Street earlier this year.

Congregation Coffee opened in 2015 and now roasts at its Lower Garden District roastery on Tchoupitoulas Street.
