Barrow have announced the sacking of boss Andy Whing to bring an end to his 11 months in the dugout.
The 41-year-old only made the move to Holker Street in January having impressed at Solihull Moors.
But he has failed to last until the end of the year having been axed following a horror run of form.
With just five wins and nine losses from 19 League Two matches this term, Barrow sit in 18th spot - just four points above the relegation zone.
A 3-0 home defeat to Tranmere proved to be the final straw, with both Whing and his assistant manager Craig Pead shown the door by the Bluebirds.

Barrow are now on the lookout for a new manager ahead of Saturday's trip to face Gillingham.
