ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A former Metro East police officer pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to stealing money from his job while employed.
Jeremiah Dressler, 42, pleaded guilty to one count of Class 2 felony theft, one count of Class 2 felony theft by deception and three counts of Class 3 wire fraud.
Court documents show that in July 2024, Dressler stole $58,000 from the Alton Police Department for his own personal use. He’s scheduled to be sentenced on a later date.
