Hidden grand jury transcripts in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case can now be made public, a judge has ruled.

US District Judge Richard M. Berman joined two other judges in granting the Department of Justice's (DoJ) requests to unseal documents from the 2019 federal probe into the late sex offender. He reversed his earlier decision to keep the material sealed, pointing to the newly passed Epstein Files Transparency Act, which requires the DoJ to release all Epstein-related files by December 19. Judge Berman approved the motion while stressing the "unequivocal right of Epstein victims to have their identity and privacy protected".
