PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - Health officials provided tips on Wednesday for helping to avoid respiratory illnesses like influenza (flu), RSV and COVID.
According to the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment (PDPHE), Symptoms of a respiratory illness may include :
Cough
Sore Throat
Runny or stuffy nose
Muscle or body aches
Headaches
Fatigue (tiredness)
Fever or feeling feverish/chills (Not everyone with flu will have a fever . )
Some people may have vomiting and diarrhea, though this is more common in children than adults.
Health officials encourage you to contact your doctor if your symptoms worsen or if you are at high risk for severe illness.
