FUNK, Neb. (KSNB) - An Axtell man will be in court in January for a pretrial hearing on charges stemming from a fiery crash that left three dead in Phelps County.

Brock Schneider, 35, pleaded not guilty to three counts of manslaughter, three counts of motor vehicle homicide while driving under the influence and one count of second-degree assault.

The seven felony charges are connected to a deadly three-vehicle crash west of Funk in August.

It happened at the intersection of Highway 6 and Road T on Aug. 15, where three people were killed.

Those victims were identified as Wallace Martin, 67, of Holdrege, Randall Franklin, 36, of Funk, and Justin Mason, 34, of Arapahoe.

According to Phelps County District Court records, Schneider entered a not-guilty plea late September.
