NORTH CANTON ‒ Babies had a crawling good time at Acme Fresh Market' s Diaper Derby.

Families from throughout Stark County and nearby braved questionable weather Dec. 10 to see if their baby had what it took to crawl their way to free diapers and wipes provided by Acme and Huggies.

Seven-month-old Kal-El was there with mom Lindsey Waite of Summit County ready to compete. Named after Superman, the young Kal-El was all smiles. Eleven-month-old Rosie was there with nana Penny Whitacre and mom Carrie Whitacre from Stark County. Rosie, fashionably dressed in a pink top and pink bow in her hair, was taking in all the activity from her shopping cart seat.
