A wind advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 1:05 p.m. valid from Thursday 10 a.m. until Friday 10 a.m. for Franklin, Worcester, Essex, Hampshire, Hampden, Middlesex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Plymouth, Bristol, Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties.

The weather service comments, “West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and some power outages may result,” states the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
