Natalie Jansen will be out of the WIXX-FM studio for the rest of the year after fracturing her back in a sledding accident , but the good news is she’s expected to make a full recovery.
The co-host on “Huggie, Natalie & Corey” in the mornings shared an update on Dec. 9 on her Facebook after seeing her neurologist a day earlier.
“While the road ahead is slow, it’s a road to recovery,” she wrote. "I’m out of work for at least 6 weeks. Physical therapy can hopefully begin around week 3, depending on my pain. I can’t drive, bend, or lift over ten pounds, and my brace stays on any time I’m upright. Healing correctly is the priority, even if the process isn’t glamorous."
