British commanders have poured praise on a UK paratrooper as a “born soldier” who died in an accident whilst serving in Ukraine .
Parachute Regiment member Lance Corporal George Hooley was named on Wednesday as the British soldier who died following a “tragic accident” according to MoD officials. The 28 year-old passed away on Tuesday while watching the Ukrainian military test a new weapon away from the frontline, the MoD said.
