One of the stars of the hit HGTV show “Holmes on Homes” has died after battling health issues for several years. On Wednesday, the show’s host Mike Holmes confirmed that electrician Frank Cozzolino died last week at the age of 56.
Holmes didn’t provide an exact cause of death, but did say his longtime friend died “suddenly” and “went through hell” in recent years.
“Frank has gone through hell,” Holmes said in an Instagram post. “I mean he’s had a liver six years ago, that liver failed, he had to go in and get another liver. It was touch and go, we thought for sure that he wasn’t going to make it, and he came back. And all of a sudden due to complications, he has passed away Dec. 4.”
