During the next two to three years, Sioux Falls bus riders will see improvements to bus stops and bus shelters across the city.

Thanks to a $2 million grant from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the city will be able to add new bus shelters and renovate existing bus stops along Sioux Area Metro (SAM) routes.

New bus shelters will be added to key high traffic routes to better serve the growth in SAM riders.
