OLCOTT, N.Y. — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is looking into a stabbing that happened Wednesday afternoon in Olcott.
Sheriff's Office deputies responded around 12:25 p.m. Wednesday to the area of 5957 Main St. in Olcott following a report of a stabbing . Once there, they found a man who had multiple lacerations.
The man was taken to Erie County Medical Center, where he is currently being treated.
An arrest in connection to the incident was announced Wednesday evening.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office said 40-year-old Kevin C. Ferber, 40, of Newfane was taken into custody at 4:17 p.m. He's been charged with one felony count of assault, one misdemeanor count each menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
