The replacement cost value of Cornwall’s asset portfolio jumped significantly from 2024 to 2025 according to GEI Consultants Canada Inc.
That means if, hypothetically speaking, an asteroid were to hit Cornwall at the time the consultants prepared the city’s 2025 asset management plan , and said asteroid only destroyed things the city owns and operates, it would cost $3.78 billion to replace everything. In 2024, the same consultants valued the city’s asset portfolio at just over $2.2 billion .
