FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - After reaching the upper 30s this morning, temperatures are on their way back down with lows expected to be in the upper teens to low 20s Thursday morning. Temperatures likely won’t reach freezing again until Tuesday at the earliest!

Scattered lake effect snow showers are likely this evening (primarily south and west of Fort Wayne where some minor accumulations are possible) as the wind continues to die down.

Thursday will be dry, but mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 20s. A clipper system from the Upper Midwest will dive southward into the Ohio Valley Thursday evening into Friday morning, though there is still quite a bit of disagreement regarding this feature’s exact placement.
