CIRCLEVILLE — The Circleville Police Department responded to 35 calls for service on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, ranging from alarm drops and theft reports to several domestic disturbances.

The early morning hours were filled with extra patrols across South Court Street, West Main Street, East Mound Street, and South Scioto Street. Officers also handled two accidental calls for service and investigated a suspicious person on Dearborn Avenue, which was found to be unfounded.

At 7:59 a.m. , emergency crews responded to an alarm drop on East Ohio Street, later cleared as a Fire/EMS call. Shortly after, officers handled an animal call on Avon Drive and a fire department complaint on Atwater Avenue.
