A man is due to appear in court after being charged with 42 offences in Greater Manchester. Modou Jammeh has been charged with 36 counts of attempted burglary, plus six other offences.
Greater Manchester Police says the 19-year-old, of no fixed address, was arrested in Audenshaw, Tameside , on Tuesday (December 9). He was arrested in connection with a string of alleged burglaries in Denton , Ashton-under-Lyne and the Fitton Hill area of Oldham .
In a statement issued this morning (Thursday), GMP confirmed he had since been charged. Jammeh, of no fixed address, was charged with 33 counts of attempted burglary of a dwelling with intent to steal and three counts of attempted burglary other than a dwelling.
