Merseyside Police is cracking down on retail crime in Liverpool city centre as Christmas approaches. Winter of Action is a national scheme designed to help keep town centres safe during the festive season and into the New Year, with the force responsible for the region.
Taking place between December 1 and January 31, officers will be stepping up their patrols to help keep residents and visitors safe as they enjoy Liverpool’s shops, bars, pubs and clubs.
