MORGANTOWN — You read about a lot of the players who have led West Virginia's women's basketball team into prominence in three years under coach Mark Kellogg.

But in this say-hello-to-me-quickly era of college sports, in which players move from place to place far faster than a Morgantown bus, a trio of players on the 8-2 Mountaineers, who are moving into the heart of their schedule, have sort of snuck up on us all.

With games coming against Power Four conference opponents Georgia Tech at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Hope Coliseum and then on Sunday at Texas A&M before heading into Big 12 Conference play, it is time to take a closer look at three players who may just hold the fate of the Mountaineers in their hands.
