A South Carolina judge has approved a $160,000 settlement in the wrongful death and survival claims brought by the estate of Samantha Miller, who died after a 2023 crash involving Jamie Komoroski, according to recently filed court records.

The petition, filed Nov. 6 in the Court of Common Pleas, states that Miller’s widower, Aric Hutchinson, acting as personal representative of her estate, asserted wrongful death and survival claims under South Carolina law against Komoroski.
