KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tennessee basketball’s Jaylen Carey provided nearly two dozen Knoxville children with an unforgettable holiday experience on Wednesday.

Carey teamed up with Dick’s House of Sport to provide 23 children from Emerald Youth Foundation with a shopping spree through the store at the Shopping with a Pro event.

“I wanted to impact the Knoxville community,” said Carey, who transferred from Vanderbilt after last season. “The way they gave to me, I want to give back to them.”

Amaree Abram, Nate Ament and Felix Okpara joined Carey at the event, signing autographs and posing for pictures with participants.

Dick’s House of Sport provided $150 to each shopper, with Carey individually matching the amount to give each participant $300 to spend.
