On Thursday at 12:05 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory valid from 10 a.m. until Friday 10 a.m. for Franklin, Middlesex, Essex, Hampshire, Hampden, Worcester, Norfolk, Bristol and Plymouth counties.
The weather service describes, “West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and some power outages may result,” describes the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
