Two police officers suspended in connection with lapses during the probe into the 2024 Porsche crash in Kalyani Nagar have now been permanently removed from service, Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar confirmed on Wednesday.

The case stems from the fatal accident on May 19, 2024, when a Porsche driven by a 17-year-old allegedly under the influence of alcohol crashed into a motorcycle, killing two young IT professionals. The incident triggered widespread public outcry over police conduct, political interference, and alleged attempts to manipulate evidence.
