ESCANABA — Three double-digit scores led the Escanaba Eskymos to 49-36 win over the Norway Knights here Monday. Senior Lennox Peacock led the way with 14 points for the Eskymos while Taylor Asgaard and Hayven Sandoval-Nolde had 10 points each.
“The boys came out strong,” Peacock said. “We had a great week of practice and we played really well on defense. It was a group effort any guy on the team would tell you the same thing and I’m proud of our guys.”
The Eskymos jumped out to an early 9-3 lead on 3-pointer from the wing by sophomore Braden Cooper who finished with eight points.
