In a setback to the makers of Akhanda 2, the Telangana High Court has suspended the state government’s order permitting increased ticket prices for the film’s premier shows.

The interim suspension comes as the court

reviews petitions challenging the government’s decision to allow higher rates.

With the order on hold, theatres will not be able to implement the enhanced pricing until further directions from the High Court.
