MONROE, Mich. — What began as a dream years in the making has quickly become a lifeline for dozens of girls across Monroe County quietly struggling with anxiety, self-worth and a lack of support at home and in school.
The Bloom Project, founded in June 2025 by certified yoga and mindfulness instructor Whitney Nadaeu from Newport, Michigan.
It aims to fill a gap its founder said is growing wider every year: the emotional and practical needs of middle and high school girls who often don’t know where to turn.
