After a chilly start in the 30s, we’ll see some Sunshine today with warmer temps this afternoon in the upper 50s.

After a brief warm-up to end this week, a cold front will usher in a quick rush of Arctic air Sunday into Monday. Saturday’s high temperatures in the 50s and 60s will give way to low temperatures in the 15 to 20 degree range Monday morning. Area residents should prepare for the dangerous cold by protecting pipes and sensitive vegetation before the weekend is over. Make sure pets, friends, and family have a warm place to stay.
