SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office is announcing a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people involved in the homicides on Hoover Street on October 9 .
On October 9, Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office responded to Hoover Street for the report of a shooting. Three people were found dead at a home on that street, one being Cash Russell, 9 years old.
The Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating, and FBI Springfield Field Office is helping with resources.
On top of the $25,000 reward being offered, Crimestoppers of Sangamon and Menard Counties are also offering an additional reward up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects
