IDA GROVE, Iowa (KTIV) - An Ida Grove woman who ran a daycare out of her home has pleaded not guilty to charges filed against her.

According to court documents, 41-year-old Megan Montgomery has pleaded not guilty to two felonies: one count of child endangerment causing serious injury and one count of willful injury.

Court documents also show Montgomery has waived her right to a speedy trial.

She was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 21, after an investigation started in September 2025. She has since posted a $10,000 bond.

Both charges are class C felonies. Each charge carries a maximum of ten years in prison if Montgomery is convicted.
