Lawyers acting on behalf of the nurse said she was disappointed with aspects of the 312-page ruling published on Monday.

"Some of the findings are hugely problematic," said solicitor Margaret Gribbon.

“Their judgment falls short in many respects. I certainly won't be giving up that legal fight anytime soon," Ms Peggie added.

It comes after the judiciary issued an amendment to the ruling, with Employment Judge Sandy Kemp correcting "clerical mistake(s), error(s) or omission(s)" in the ruling.

However, it did not change the verdict in the judgment, which found that NHS Fife harassed Ms Peggie on four accounts.
