In a ruling issued on Monday, tribunal judge Sandy Kemp found that NHS Fife had harassed Ms Peggie, but rejected claims of discrimination made against the health board and Doctor Beth Upton, who is a transgender woman.

Speaking to supporters in Dundee on Thursday afternoon, Ms Peggie said she had never heard of the phrase ‘gender critical’ until she raised concerns to NHS Fife superiors about Doctor Upton’s presence in the female changing room.
