MUSKEGON, MI -- A Muskegon chef brought not only his skills and talent, but his outlook on life to a Michigan prison through his food tech training. He invited prisoners into the gourmet culinary world and a film crew brought that world to audiences across the country.

The award-winning documentary ‘Coldwater Kitchen’ is coming to the The Frauenthal Center for Performing Arts for one night only.

It’ll be a homecoming showing for Muskegon-based Chef Jimmy Lee Hill, who will be present and engage in audience conversation after the screening on Friday, Dec. 12.

Hill has led the culinary training program for 30 years.
