It’s never too late to realize a life-long dream. Just ask Steve Skuba, who’s enjoying life as a prominent member of the Hawthorne Caballeros Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps.

An offshoot of the more famous Hawthorne Caballeros Senior Drum & Bugle Competing Corps, which was founded by James J. Costello Jr. and officially organized in 1946, the Cabs Alumni have become equally famous thanks to the unselfish contributions of its veteran members.

For the record, the Hawthorne Caballeros Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps is a non‑competitive alumni ensemble “that preserves and performs the classic Hawthorne Caballeros style, music, and visual identity from the corps’ peak senior‑corps years.
