Both are mid-century residences in the town

Two residential properties built around the time Paradise Valley was being incorporated in 1961 will go before council Dec. 11 for approval into to the town’s historic property recognition program.

The homes are: The Doug And Mary Jorden residence, 6122 E. Quartz Mountain Road, and the Tom Gates residence, 5312 E. Royal Palm Road.

Town officials created the historic recognition program in 2018 to allow residents’ homes be recognized for their unique historical or architectural character.
