Barrington is now accepting applications for the 2026 “Super Senior” grant program, which offers $750 grants to income-eligible homeowners.
Age is one of the key determinants for the program — only residents who are 80 or older are eligible for the grants. The grant program also requires that the applicant has resided in their home for at least the past 10 years.
Applications are due Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, and may be submitted during Barrington Town Hall office hours or placed in the after-hours drop box outside the finance department. Forms, including the required W-9 and a Q&A, are available at Barrington Town Hall, the Peck Center, and online at https://barrington.ri.gov/324/Spencer-Trust .
