Ole Miss and Louisville will open their football seasons with a neutral-site game at Nissan Stadium in 2026.
The contest is expected to be played on either Sept. 5 or Sept. 6, which would make it the first college football game played in the U.S. in 2026.
Two other games will be played abroad on the previous weekend: North Carolina and TCU will meet in Ireland, with NC State and Virginia playing in Brazil.
The Ole Miss-Louisville contest will be aired on ESPN.
Game date, time and ticket information will be announced at a later date.
“We are excited to work with the Nashville Sports Council in bringing these two great institutions to Nashville over Labor Day Weekend,” Clint Overby, vice president at ESPN Events, said in a release.
