TJ Watt is dealing with a worrying lung issue ahead of his team’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins in Week 15.

Watt, an eight-year NFL veteran, has been with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the entirety of his career. His name did come up in trade rumors and proposals during the offseason. However, he signed a four-year, $123 million deal to remain with the franchise back in July.

The 31-year-old’s status for the upcoming game is now unknown. According to an announcement from the Steelers , shared by spokesperson Burt Lauten, Watt is in hospital.

Lauten noted that the player experienced discomfort in practice on Wednesday and is having one of his lungs evaluated at a local hospital.
