A 40-year-old Chattanooga man is facing charges after police say he choked a woman and pistol-whipped another man.
Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a motel on Williams Street late Tuesday night, according to an arrest report obtained by Local 3 News.
The two victims told police that they had been assaulted by a man in another room.
Officers approached the door, announcing themselves and asking the man to come outside.
Police say Michael Jones opened the door with a gun in his right hand. He then slammed the door and placed the weapon in the sink.
The suspect opened the door again, and officers pulled him out of the room.
