OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - A 64-year-old Owensboro man was arrested Wednesday following an Internet Crimes Against Children task force investigation into the purchase and sale of child sex dolls.

Philip D. Basham was taken into custody when Owensboro Police Department detectives executed a search warrant at his home in the 2200 block of Westerfield Drive, according to police.

Detectives say they seized multiple child sex dolls and other items that require further forensic analysis, which may lead to additional charges.

Basham was taken to the Daviess County Detention Center and charged with four counts of knowingly possessing a child sex doll, one count of knowingly trafficking a child sex doll and one count of possession of marijuana.
