WASHINGTON — Vevor Ice Crushers were Thursday after at least two had "thermal events" and one caught fire.

The said about 11,650 were sold nationwide in the U.S. and an additional 1,060 were sold in Canada July 2021 through July 2025.

The ice crushers, which come in blue, white, silver, red and yellow, were sold online at Vevor.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Wayfair.com, HomeDepot.com and Lowes.com from around $40 to $86.

The products were advertised as Ice Shavers, Ice Crushers and Snow Cone Makers.

Impacted units have model number BY-300 and BY-300FS. “Vevor” and the model number are printed on a label on the top of the ice crusher.
