Families are invited to join Santa for a pancake breakfast, while also enjoying a close-up look at fire trucks in Maumee on Saturday.

The International Association of Firefighters Local 5436, the union that represents Maumee firefighters and paramedics, will host the 13th Annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa and Toy Drive at the Maumee Fire Station, 220 Illinois Ave., from 8 a.m. to noon.

In addition the breakfast, people will also be able to interact with the first responders who serve their community, organizers said.

Children will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with Santa and share their holiday wishes.

The breakfast is $5 per person, but people who bring an unwrapped toy for the toy drive will receive one free breakfast. All toys collected will benefit Lucas County Chi
