The Ohio Prep Sports Media Association announced their Division I All-Ohio football teams Thursday, with Perrysburg’s Reed Gerken (offensive lineman) and Whitmer’s LJ Glover (linebacker) leading the way for local talent with first-team honors.

Gerken, a 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive tackle, wrapped up his junior season with the Yellow Jackets, where the team finished 9-3 overall. Gerken is currently listed as a three-star recruit, holding multiple NCAA D-I offers heading into his senior season.

Glover racked up individual accolades in his senior season, including his first-team selection. The linebacker recorded 88 tackles with nine for loss, two forced fumbles, two pass breakups, and a touchdown. Glover was one of four Whitmer players to earn placements on All-Ohio teams.
