Eat foods that warm the body, also known as thermogenic foods, to warm up from the inside out.

Foods thought to be warming include fish, nuts like almonds, cashews and pistachios, dates and tea. Also use spices like black pepper, cinnamon, cloves and cardamum, which are all found in garum masala. You can also use jaggery, a warming sweetener, in place of sugar.
