Multiple surgeries, physiotherapy and the use of walking supports likely in store

When Cherry Dietrich got a phone call from her 16-year-old son’s number on Tuesday, just five minutes after he had left the house, she knew something was wrong.

“I just had this sick feeling and I said, ‘what’s wrong?’ ” she said on Thursday.
