LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - An investigation is underway after a $90,000 bronze bust and three plaques were stolen from the gravesite of former Nebraska Gov. Albinus Nance.

The Wyuka Cemetery President Joshua Vossler filed a report for the stolen items with Lincoln Police on Thursday at 11 a.m.

Police said the plaques included an Abraham Lincoln plaque, a Pledge of Allegiance plaque and one with a script written on it.

Officers are also investigating reported vandalism at the cemetery the day before.

Vossler told police 29 bronze flower vases had been pried from a columbarium for a total loss estimated at $8,700.
