At 4:17 p.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service issued an updated snow squall warning in effect until 4:45 p.m. for Monroe County.
"At 4:17 p.m., a dangerous snow squall was located over Mount Pocono, moving east at 30 mph," describes the weather service. "This includes portions of Interstate 80 and 380 in Monroe County."
Locations impacted by the warning include Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Henryville, Analomink, Tannersville, Alpine Mountain, Scotrun, Paradise Valley, Pocono Pines, Stroudsburg, Cresco, Arlington Heights and Bartonsville.
