CINCINNATI, Ohio — Cincinnati’s star defensive end will not be returning for the final four games of the season.

The Bengals placed Trey Hendrickson on injured reserve on Thursday with a hip/pelvis injury. Since a player must stay on IR for at least four games, Hendrickson won’t be able to return this season.

He has played in just seven games this season, recording 16 tackles and four sacks.
